How Eicom Barneveld B.V. handles the information you share with us through this website.

Who is responsible

Eicom Barneveld B.V. is the controller responsible for the processing of personal data through this website (eicom.nl). This policy explains which data we process, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We do not process more data than necessary and we do not sell data to anyone.

Data you send us through the forms

The website has four forms. We only receive what you fill in and send yourself. Each form has an invisible extra field to stop spam; it contains no data about you.

Contact form and selection guide

Through the contact form we receive your first name, last name, email address and message, and if you fill them in, your phone number and company name. We use this data to answer your question and, if you wish, to prepare a quotation or cooperation. The selection guide ‘Is Eicom Barneveld a good fit for you?’ on the home page only pre-fills the message in the contact form. Your answers only reach us when you send the contact form yourself.

Legal basis: your request for contact (steps prior to a possible agreement) and our legitimate interest in answering questions from customers and business contacts.

Applying for a vacancy

When you apply for a vacancy we receive your name, email address and phone number, and if you add it, your CV (pdf, doc or docx, up to 4 MB). The CV is attached to the email we receive and is not stored on the website. We only use this data for the application procedure. If you reached the vacancy through an ad or a link with a campaign label, that label (for example ‘meta / werving-2026-10 / chauffeur’) is also included in the email. No cookies are used for this. Our vacancies and application forms are in Dutch.

Open application

With an open application we receive your name and email address, so we can contact you about working at Eicom Barneveld.

Legal basis for both application forms: your request to be considered for a position (steps prior to a possible employment contract).

Getting acquainted for poultry farmers (laying cycle)

Through the form on the laying cycle page we receive your name, phone number and email address, and if you fill them in, your company name, town, housing system, number of hens, the end of your current laying cycle and your comments. We use this data to contact you for an introduction and a possible cooperation. Legal basis: your request for contact (steps prior to a possible agreement).

How your message reaches us

The website does not store form submissions: there is no database of submissions. When you send a form, the website immediately turns your data into an email to our mailbox. To send that email we use Resend (Resend, Inc.), with processing in the EU region (Ireland). Resend processes the message to deliver it and keeps a delivery log, so we can check whether a message has arrived. From then on your message is in the mailbox of Eicom Barneveld and the retention period below applies.

To prevent misuse of the forms, the website counts how often a form is sent from the same IP address (no more than five times per ten minutes per form). That IP address is only held in the server’s working memory, is not saved to a file or database and is no longer used after ten minutes. It disappears as soon as the server restarts. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in securing the website.

Each form also uses Google reCAPTCHA, an invisible check that stops spam and automated submissions. It is only loaded once you start filling in a form, not when the page opens. Google then processes, among other things, your IP address, data about your browser and device and how you use the page, and may set cookies for this. Google only gives us a score that indicates how likely it is that the submission comes from a person. The Google privacy policy and terms of service apply to reCAPTCHA. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the forms against misuse.

Cookies, Google Analytics and Meta pixel

On your first visit we ask whether we may measure how you use the website. You choose: ‘Accept’ or ‘Decline’. Both choices are equally easy and the website works fully either way.

Your choice (necessary)

We store your choice in your browser’s local storage (localStorage, under the name ‘eicom-cookie-consent’), so we do not ask again on every page. It only contains your choice and the date. After twelve months we ask again. No consent is needed for this.

Google Analytics (only with your consent)

If you click ‘Accept’, we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 from Google. This shows us, for example, how many visitors the site has, which pages they view and how often a form is sent. We use these figures to improve the website. For this, Google Analytics sets the cookies ‘_ga’ and ‘_ga_MTT5Y148PW’, which are valid for two years by default. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Legal basis: your consent.

Meta pixel (only with your consent)

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, including for our vacancies. To measure whether those ads lead to job applications, after ‘Accept’ we also load the Meta pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The pixel sees which page you visit and whether you send an application form, and sets the cookies ‘_fbp’ and, if you arrive through an ad, ‘_fbc’ (valid for three months). If you send an application, we also notify Meta of that application with your email address and phone number in encrypted (hashed) form, so Meta can link the application to the ad. Your name and CV are never sent to Meta. Meta also uses this data for its own purposes; Eicom Barneveld and Meta are joint controllers for collecting and transmitting it. Legal basis: your consent.

Without consent, or if you decline, we load nothing from Google or Meta: no analytics or advertising cookies are set and no data is sent to Google or Meta. The site uses Google Consent Mode: consent for Google advertising cookies is always off. The only exception is the Google reCAPTCHA spam check on the forms: we only load it once you start filling in a form, see ‘How your message reaches us’.

You can change your choice or withdraw your consent at any time via at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we remove the Google Analytics and Meta pixel cookies from your browser.

Hosting and technical data

The website runs on Vercel (Vercel Inc.). On every visit Vercel processes technical data, such as your IP address, the requested address, the time and your browser type. This is necessary to show and secure the website (legitimate interest). We do not use this data to track visitors. Fonts and images are served from our own website, not from external servers.

The website contains links to other services. Data is only shared when you click such a link yourself; from then on the privacy policy of that service applies.

  • WhatsApp: the vacancies have a WhatsApp button. If you click it, WhatsApp opens with a sample message. If you send the message, Eicom Barneveld sees your phone number, your WhatsApp name and what you send. WhatsApp is a Meta service.
  • Facebook: at the bottom of every page there is a link to our Facebook page. It is a plain link. We only load Meta code (the Meta pixel) with your consent, see ‘Cookies’ above.
  • Google Maps: the map on the contact page is an image that links to Google Maps. No Google map is loaded.

Who we share data with

We do not share your data with others for their own purposes. For the website we work with the following processors, who only use your data on our behalf:

  • Clickwave (Barneveld): builds and manages the website.
  • Vercel Inc.: hosting of the website.
  • Resend, Inc.: sending the forms as email (EU region, Ireland).
  • Google: Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, only if you give consent. Also reCAPTCHA, the spam check on the forms.
  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.: the Meta pixel and notifications of applications, only if you give consent (see ‘Cookies’).

Vercel, Resend, Google and Meta are (also) based in the United States. If data ends up outside the European Economic Area as a result, this happens with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

We only provide data to others if we are required to do so by law.

How long we keep data

  • Contact form and poultry farmer introductions: as long as needed to handle your request. If the contact leads to a customer relationship or agreement, we keep the data for as long as it lasts and then for as long as the law requires (for example seven years for our accounts).
  • Applications: until no later than four weeks after the end of the application procedure. With your consent we keep your data for up to one year, so we can contact you if another suitable position becomes available. If you join us, your data is transferred to your personnel file.
  • IP address for spam protection: no longer used after ten minutes, only held in the server’s working memory.
  • Your cookie choice: twelve months in your own browser.
  • Google Analytics: the cookies are valid for two years by default; we keep the data in Google Analytics for no more than fourteen months.
  • Meta pixel: the cookies ‘_fbp’ and ‘_fbc’ are valid for three months; how long Meta keeps the data is described in Meta’s privacy policy.

Security

The website can only be reached over a secure connection (https). The forms check what is being sent, a CV is checked for file type and size, and the forms are protected against spam and misuse.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • have the processing restricted;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a common file format (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent, without affecting the processing before that.

Send your request to info@eicom.nl. We will respond within one month. To make sure we do not give data to the wrong person, we may ask you to confirm your identity.

Filing a complaint

Not satisfied with how we handle your data? Please let us know first, so we can look for a solution together. You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

We update this privacy policy when the website or the way we work changes. The date below shows when the text was last updated. If the Dutch and English versions differ, the Dutch version applies.
